Yes I felt silly labeling them, still feel like it ties things together nicely lol

So I wanted to get a better feel of how hector is distinct in the beast of little hope au, especially as its an offshoot of the Hector Clarke au and when it comes down to it he had the benefit of a decent childhood that then got derailed by lycanthopy in his teens, so I thought about it and as he grows up obsessed with the local history and would have centred himself around that it would have led to him growing his hair out but as that positive future stopped in it's tracks then I went with a popular look for the era that can contextually be seen as maintaining this moment he could no longer commit to his life goals, like it's trendy and all but you can see how he would have liked to not be trendy and instead be weird and esoteric and to be honest I didn't expect to write so much about hector's perfectly average hairstyle but moving on he's in his late twenties and while he isn't as rough due to the benefit of a gentler early life and not being FBI, I wanted him to look tired and maybe a touch younger than he should despite the fact that he's like 6'3 because the way it's impacted him is just different than it would have been if it was an early childhood thing, that and with him being selectively mute by the 90s I opted for a much more "invisible issues" type of approach where the worst that can be seen is him maybe looking tired

Now onto the damn wolf finally 😅

So as can be seen in the sketch his wolf form, much like Vince's, retains his eyes, unlike Vince his fur is very straight and it would be my intention that it has the same vibe as his hair, like he's got this scary black dog look but really he's just a big puppy that wants to stick with his sister, especially with all the self image issues and feeling responsible for everything bad that has happened to his family despite having no control over how things turned out

OK I just need to take a minute to admire this, like first of all Hector is adorable and I love his mascara moustache, I like how much he looks like a younger version of himself and Megan looks stunning and I really like how relaxed they both look

I've got my own version of these newly minted siblings in the works and I'm surprised by how well the idea works 💖

The record player crackles to a start -- Lacrimosa: melancholically tinged decrescendos with a sinister taste on the swells.

Trailing eyes confess a story he would never reveal. He thinks of meals instead, imagines the smell settling on his taste buds, or he ponders philosophy, the nature of good and evil -- Locke or Hobbes?

But the swallow of his wine leaves him unsatisfied; what on first sip was savored grows suddenly sour.

He allows his mind to wander then, weaving between palace walls, and arrives at his favorite door, locked. It creaks open, metallic friction, unveiling a piano, its soft song.

Another man sits at its bench, impeccably dressed, donned in the very suit he wears himself: some Patroclus of his mind’s design. He strides towards his apparent Patroclus, lifts a knife to strike, and does so.

He slits the man’s throat. Gravity pulls the blood from his neck. He thinks of supper again, perhaps coq au vin, envisions splitting open his skull, his brain -- and his Patroclus makes no sound, but lifts his head.

Their eyes meet at some place then, somewhere between desperation and yearning. He stumbles back, as though stabbed himself, as the man falls into the scarlet pool beneath. Could he be Achilles and Hector both?

A harsh scratch -- the record has ended. He thinks of his Patroclus, the blood at his feet, how obsessed with this man he’d become, and his own raison d'être: proper eradication, the clandestine quiet of the slaughter.

A fable of fixations -- blood and lust, and how to reconcile the two to one, within the notes of Mozart’s crescendos.

I've been saying for the longest time that hair=morality for the sukesh models

Joseph is a virtuous man with divinely luxurious hair, comparatively i warn that it's on sight with a hypothetical bald sukesh model because I know he's running a cult or something

This is actually half the reason I give Hector such beautiful hair as an adult in the Hector Clarke au because he's not as stressed out and he's a positive force in his town and he actually plays Joseph every year in the local theatre production(I've clearly thought about it a little too much lol)

Still don't forgive SMG's constant bullying of the Sukesh face models hair line. You give us such luscious beautiful hair in the form of the Js... then you buzz that shit off!!!

Gave Dar a glorified peach fuzz, a static shock waiting to happen, a freshly mowed lawn for a hairdo!!

But then they whip him out once more for Du'met and oh shit he has hair again... SIKE ITS THINNER THAN PAPER AND HE HAS A BALLED SPOT!!! Hector don't need a light house, he has a searchlight on his head, a perfectly smooth NOTHING that I would bet you makes a gong noise when you slap it!!!

I haven't seen a good photo of Robert from TDPA Switchback but if its anything like his last two iterations I'm gonna lose my mind!!!

I have a shit ton of WIPs, so I’ll be doing only 7. Here we go! 

Finding home: Time changes everything. Being a family means you accept them. It means you change, too.

“Tough! Life’s not fair! It wasn’t fair when they floated my dad! It wasn’t fair when Charlotte killed Wells! And it wasn’t fair when you failed to show up after five years.” “We didn’t have a choice.” She smiles, sharp and dangerous, leaning forward so that her breath fans across his cheeks. “You wanna know what else’s not fair? I called you every day for over six years. I waited for you and you went and started fucking Echo.” Bellamy feels something twist in his chest. The guilt she makes him feel is old, he’s dealt with it and came to terms with, so why does it hurt so much? Why must he go through this shit again?

And up in space, I dreamt: Canon Divergent AU and part of the Newcomers Verse: Glimpses at the life of the space squad before they get captured by Marskru.

But then he remembers who he’s talking to. For Bellamy his family’s quarters where the safest place on the Ark. “My mom was not the loving type after I… After my father was floated. If I wanted to save something of mine from ending up sold, I had to hide it.” “I’m sorry.” Murphy shrugs. “Not your fault.”

Pandora’s Box: Octavia’s POV of the opening of the bunker. I have only like one page of this thing and I am not sure if it’s finished or not, or if I ever published this. 

In a world of ritual, of titles and spirits, Wanheda is a great threat and Octavia needs to make sure everyone understands she’s in charge. Wanheda is nothing. Just some relic of the past, less than nothing. She’ll to consult Gaia. And of course, Wanheda looks at Bellamy, because ever since he landed on Earth, Bellamy has been at Wanheda’s side. Even before she became Wanheda, Bellamy was already putting the blonde’s needs before Octavia’s, tagging behind her like a lost puppy. She squashes that flare of despicable sentiment: Bellamy came back for her. And now that he’s here, he’ll fall into place.

Roan and the City: After dying in the conclave, Roan thinks he’s earned his place in the Halls of his Ancestors. Instead, he wakes up in a brightly lit, pre-Praimfaya, skaikru city. Also, he appears to be immortal now. which... you know... sucks.

The ride on the warrior’s rover is as terrifying as the one to Becca’s island was, if not as eventful. He’s seated in the back, behind a flimsy-looking grid separating him from the guards – which is better than a bag over his head, so he’ll take the grate – on a dirty and cracked seat that’s most definitely not leather. The interior smells distinctly of alcohol and piss and something he can’t identify, but that has a distinctive acid tang to it and seems to try to hide all the other smells with its stench. Roan uses the time to look through the windows. He’s in the river of Rovers now, watching the river of people flowing around him. There aren’t that many people on the streets now. The women prancing around are scantily clad in impractical skirts and painful-looking shoes that can’t offer any sort of real protection or – you know – footing. The men wander around in undershirts with incomprehensible messages printed across their chests.

Monin hou: Canon Divergence AU: After Bellamy and Clarke negotiate with the grounders, they decide to share the bunker equally. 100 spots per clan. That marks the start of 5 years of forced peace in which mortal enemies have to learn how to live with each other. Shit goes as expected. 

“Kane feels there might be a bit of resistance from skaikru if suddenly over half the bunker’s population starts shadowing skaikru. Which automatically brought up the very vocal Anti-Grounder Campaign.” Bellamy bites back a snort. “Was he trying to convince you to go back or scare you off definitively?” She smiles. Together they sit at a bench by the door. Clarke takes two nutrition packs out of her pocket and gives him one. He isn’t hungry, but takes it anyway. 

Fighting Armand (working title) CrackFic: Monty accidentally makes a sentient algae plant. He carries everywhere with him. The plant isn’t happy that spacekru is eating his brothers. Also, it knows how to swordfight. Somehow.

The algae’s name is Armand. It was Monty’s pet plant and until ten minutes ago, it lived in a cutely painted pot the young sky farmer carried around everywhere. Echo parries an extremely skillful jab, twists to the left and slices up. Armand screams somehow – considering it doesn’t have a mouth. The branch holding the sword falls to the metal floor with a wet splat. Monty sobs. At least he has stopped begging her not to hurt it.

Raising Alexander: ModernAU: After losing Lincoln in a car accident, 18-year-old Octavia goes through with her unplanned pregnancy. When the baby comes, though, she panics and flees, leaving the unnamed baby behind. Bellamy takes care of the kid. 14 years later two things happen: One very angry Madi Griffin enters his bookshop for the first time. Octavia comes back.

The hotel is a big part of Arkadia’s economic ground and, like the small hospital and many other buildings in the city, they all belong to the Azgeda family. Forty-five years ago Nia Icewater married James Azgeda and proceeded to build an empire that soon made her the most despised and powerful woman in town. By now Hector, Nia’s eldest, has taken over the company, but rumor has it, the old woman controls everything from the shadows, using her son as a puppet. The party – more a gala than anything else – is an annual tribute done to the self-proclaimed ‘saver of Arkadia.’ Echo parks her car next to Roan’s shiny Lamborghini. She sits there for a moment, breathing slowly in and out, trying to get herself under control. Nia’s dislike for her stepdaughter is no secret.

I know I don't really go there in my own writing/art but I have decided right this second that this is the dynamic for the Hector Clarke au

A part of me wants to see what Hector (or even Du’met 👀) would be like as a bottom, I imagine he’d still be very possessive of Charlie haha

Oh yeah.

Of course, my interpretation of the characters and their relationships which I'm showing in the "purple orchids" is overflowing in my brain right now, so I'll be speaking in that context.

Hector is obsessed with Charlie and madly in love with him, he not only wants to possess him, but also to be the object of his possession too. He loves when Charlie shows his power, strength, confidence. He certainly wouldn't have refused if Lonnit had taken the initiative. And it certainly would have been his first such experience.

But he trusts Charlie completely. And I think they would do everything in a missionary position, because it is important for both of them to observe each other's faces in order to subconsciously make sure that they are the centers of the universe for each other.

Charlie would be very careful and gentle; perhaps Hector would even have been embarrassed by this, he would have blushed and, avoiding eye contact, grumbled something about not needing to treat him like a china cup. But Charlie remains adamant, and the first time come out impossibly vanilla-like.

As for Dumet... Well, I think if we're talking about a concept where they didn't know each other before the castle, then of course it all depends on Charles. If he will be his hostage - it'll hardly happen. But if he is his accomplice ... Here, of course, they can have some fun.

So I guess I take it as a matter of trust. And therefore my boys too, heh.

The series of events that lead to this is one of three paths Dennis could take in timelines where he lives and while this particular sequence of events lines up with the no fire timeline and different things happens in the Hector Clarke and sole survivor Dennis timelines, this is a critical part of the beast of little hope au as Dennis's previous time on the mountain informs the decision to move the family there to isolate until the curse is lifted

A lot of the specific lore is still simmering and @delurkr and I will reveal it when it's ready but for now I'll say that it's both it's own thing and a foundational block for the cluster au that is the beast of little hope

It's every bit as interesting as this lovely piece implies and it's all because delurkr is very knowledgeable and cool 💕

Dennis's Grizzly Adams Phase

Which happened in 1975 on Blackwood Mountain, that's all the available context lol. (The background is edited Until Dawn environment art).

It's hard to see all of what's going on so I'll point out three things: the cuffed up sleeves on his coat showing the yellow lining (it's not the best fit because it's a hand-me-down), a double-wrapped puka shell necklace as a bracelet (seeing as how I've drawn him in the necklace before), and the green quilted liner to an M65 field jacket under the coat.

And it was requested that I show off my top-quality mockup from the planning stage so I'll leave you with that 😁

So I think I've found my 80s look for Megan's Hector Clarke timeline, did she butcher the poor lace skirt? Yes but it is the perfect 10 years later from her teen version and it keeps with the alt vibe whilst transforming it
